Job Title: Brand Creative Director

Reports to: VP of Marketing/CMO

Role Summary

The Brand Creative Director owns Triquetra’s brand identity end to end — how the brand looks, sounds, and shows up everywhere a customer or retail buyer encounters it, across Amazon, our DTC site, TikTok Shop, packaging, and a rapidly growing national retail footprint. This role is the internal owner of our rebrand, the guardian of brand consistency across 100+ SKUs, and the creative leader who raises the ceiling of the team we already have.

Triquetra has scaled past $100M on the strength of product, science, and performance marketing. The brand layer is now the gap between where we are and best-in-class. We are at the beginning stages of a rebrand with a hard debut date at Expo West in March 2027, and our retail expansion has made packaging and shelf presence business-critical. This person turns a strong company into a recognizable premium brand — and builds the standards and systems that make that consistency scalable, so quality no longer depends on any single designer or on executive review.

This is a brand leadership role, not a conversion specialist role. Performance and CRO fluency are valuable context, but this role is measured on brand coherence, recognition, and retail readiness: does Triquetra look, sound, and feel like one premium brand the whole way through the customer journey — from a TikTok ad to a DTC page to an Amazon listing to a shelf at Sprouts.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Identity System Ownership

• Own, evolve, and enforce the complete brand identity system: design standards, brand kits, voice and

visual guidelines, and editorial review across 100+ products and every channel.

• Build the repeatable visual language that makes quality scalable — templates, component libraries,

layout patterns, and type / color / iconography standards any designer on the team can execute against.

• Serve as the final creative quality gate so brand consistency lives in a system the whole team follows,

not in any one person’s head.

Rebrand Leadership

• Act as the internal owner of the rebrand: manage the agency relationship, drive decisions on identity,

brand architecture, and design system, and hold the timeline to the Expo West March 2027 debut.

• Carry the new identity through every surface — packaging, website, Amazon listings, social, the Expo

West booth, and retail buyer materials.

Packaging & Retail Presence

• Own packaging design and the retail shelf experience, including front-of-pack benefit language that

communicates what a product does in a three-second read.

• Develop shelf-ready, buyer-tested design that earns placement and repeat purchase as we expand

across Sprouts, Whole Foods, Walmart, and Costco.

Brand Storytelling & Voice

• Translate complex science (methylation, GLP, microbiome) into a warm, credible consumer brand

without losing accuracy or compliance.

Creative Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the in-house creative team; our senior design lead reports into this role.

• Set the bar and raise the floor: review, redline, and elevate the team’s work so direction means making other people’s work world-class, not just producing hero work yourself.

• Build the feedback, critique, and review rhythms that transfer brand standards down through the team.

New Product Launch Brand Work

• Own the brand workstream for our monthly launch cadence: naming, packaging, launch identity, and listing creative direction.

Cross-Channel Consistency & Compliance

• Ensure a buyer who meets us on a TikTok ad, lands on a DTC page, and checks the Amazon listing

experiences one coherent premium brand throughout.

• Keep all customer-facing brand work inside our regulatory guardrails, partnering with compliance on claims and voice in a claims-sensitive category.

Qualifications

Required

• Brand design / creative leadership, with directing other creatives.

• CPG background — supplements, wellness, beauty, or food — with work that lives on both digital

shelves and physical ones.

• Has built or rebuilt a brand identity at scale, ideally through a rebrand, packaging system overhaul, or retail launch.

• Portfolio demonstrates brand systems, packaging, and standards a team actually executed against — not just beautiful one-off work.

• Proven people developer: real stories of taking designers whose work wasn’t good enough and getting them to world-class.

• Player-coach who stays hands-on: at our velocity, the bar-setter still ships.

Preferred

• Supplement or regulated-category experience; comfortable working within FDA/FTC claims constraints.

• Retail packaging experience with national grocery or mass retailers.

• Experience managing external brand or creative agencies through a major engagement.

• Modern tooling fluency — high-level Figma plus genuine comfort directing AI image/video pipelines. We move fast and use these tools heavily.

• Conversion / CRO literacy as supporting context for digital surfaces.

• US-based preferred.

Key Skills

• Brand systems thinking — builds the guardrails that let a team execute a vision consistently at 100+ SKU scale, rather than hand-crafting every asset.

• Taste and restraint — understands that premium often means knowing what to remove; the

fundamentals that separate “looks templated” from “looks like a brand worth the price.”

• Message-to-visual translation — takes something abstract (a mechanism, a claim, a founder story) and

turns it into brand expression a consumer instantly understands and believes.

• Creative direction — reviews and elevates others’ work; gives clear, actionable feedback that raises the

team’s ceiling.

• Cross-functional diplomacy — partners effectively with marketing, retail sales, ops/packaging,

compliance, and external agency teams.

• Retail shelf instinct — designs for the three-second read and the crowded set, not just the scrolling

feed.
