West Chester, Ohio | Full-Time | Some Weekday Evenings Required

Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who wants to fully use your technical skills while working with a collaborative veterinary team?

Noah’s Ark Animal Clinics is seeking a full-time RVT for our West Chester hospital. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who is confident in a busy clinical environment, values teamwork, and is committed to providing safe, compassionate, high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

As an RVT, you will work alongside our veterinarians and hospital team to:

  • Perform patient assessments and provide skilled nursing care.
  • Assist with exams, diagnostics, treatments, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, and patient recovery.
  • Support anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Perform laboratory procedures and obtain diagnostic samples.
  • Take diagnostic-quality radiographs in accordance with safety standards.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by a veterinarian.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Educate clients about medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive care.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques.
  • Help maintain efficient patient flow and a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
  • Support and guide veterinary assistants based on demonstrated training and competency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Ohio RVT registration or eligibility to obtain registration before beginning employment.
  • Previous experience working as an RVT in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in core RVT skills, including patient care, anesthesia monitoring, surgery support, laboratory procedures, radiology, medication administration, and medical documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable attendance and availability to work weekday evening shifts.
  • Commitment to continued learning and high standards of patient care.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Weekday evening availability is required.
  • No Saturday shifts are required for this position.
