Schedule:Â Full Time 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p, One Saturday every 3 weeksÂ
Location: 2434 Wolf Road, Westchester, IL 60155 (will also work at Primary Care Clinic in Woodridge)
The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of professional nursing care activities and accommodating services for physicians and the practice, following established standards, practices, policies, and procedures. This position requires demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to provide and evaluate patient care. This role involves knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care, as well as knowledge of medical equipment and instruments. In addition, this position requires skills in applying and modifying nursing principles, methods, and techniques, identifying problems and recommending solutions, and maintaining records and writing reports. This role involves developing and maintaining department quality assurance and establishing effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.

Assists patients in preparation for exams and collect specimens promptly.
Prepares equipment and assist physicians during treatments and exams.
Performs general nursing activities, ensuring quality care and efficient patient flow.
Oversees appointment scheduling, prioritizing emergency situations.
Escorts patients to exam rooms within 15 minutes of arrival.
Records patient vitals and screen medical information.
Maintains and controls medical supplies and medication counts securely.
Performs audio, vision, and spirometer tests for physical exams.
Responds to patient-related phone calls within two hours and call in prescriptions within 30 minutes.
Completes referrals, hospital admissions, and provide clear patient instructions.
Documents patient conditions, reactions to medications, and all phone conversations accurately.
Maintains patient records, ensuring all notes and documents are filed correctly.

Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
Associate's of Nursing Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
One or more years of Work Experience Preferred
Experience as RN in primary care ambulatory clinic setting with phone triaging experience preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
