Forklift Operator

Position Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Loads and unloads material onto or off truck.
• Fills out inspection sheets required by State regulations.
• Reports major problems to supervisor.
• Palletizes outgoing products.
• Maintain all equipment in your area in a clean, safe manner; report any problems to supervisor immediately.
• Obeys all safety rules
• Performs other incidental duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Requirements: 

• Ability to drive fork lifts. Be a safe and courteous driver. Must be able to lift, carry and/or move heavy boxes (100+ lbs.) manually or with specified equipment. 
• Preferably 2 years experience on a sit down Lp truck. 
• Able to read and follow a schedule. 
• Good organizational skills. 
• Experience loading and unloading raw material and material on a pallet.
• 
  

Minimum Qualifications: 
 Must pass safety training. Must be literate and have good problem-solving and communication skills. 

Work Environment:
 Sitting and driving a forklift.
