Summary:

Works to achieve location and bank goals through collaboration, team building, individual cross-selling, relationship building, and leadership in community involvement efforts that strengthen the bank’s visibility and ties within the market. Responsible for mentoring and coaching staff in all aspects of their job. Financial Center Manager is responsible for the operational efficiency and security of the financial center.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Performance and Business Development Standards

• Achieves sales goals by identifying opportunities to cross-sell new and existing services.

• Works to increase fee income and overall banking relationships across all lines of business, both individually and through coaching the team.

• Makes referrals to retail banking, consumer lending, business solutions, commercial and mortgage lending, and First Wealth Management to support relationship growth.

Manage Relationships

• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with other departments to ensure Financial Center and bank goals are met.

• Contributes to overall team efforts and collaborates effectively with fellow employees.

Performance Management

• Leads and facilitates individual and team meetings, including development of meeting agendas.

• Drives performance outcomes through coaching, with a focus on results and cross-departmental referrals.

• Demonstrates strong leadership in performance coaching and conflict resolution.

• Demonstrates and coaches exceptional professionalism and delivery of outstanding customer experiences.

• Models and reinforces FNB Core Values, Quality Standards, and culture.

Compliance and Security

• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and bank regulations, laws, and internal policies.

Skills and Training

• Maintains and applies the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively lead the financial center, team, and time management priorities.

• Communicates effectively, with strong verbal, written, and active listening skills.

Personal Commitment

• Represents the bank with a positive, professional image in all settings, including customer interactions and community engagement.

• Exercises sound judgment and makes timely, practical decisions.

• Performs effectively in high-pressure situations and leads through change.

Administrative

• Leads day-to-day financial center operations, ensuring profitability and growth.

• Conducts and oversees monthly audits of retail operations, including teller drawers, vault, ATM, monetary instruments, and night drops.

• Ensures timely resolution of all deposit and loan documentation deficiencies.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or relationship banking with a strong emphasis on consultative, needs-based selling; consumer lending experience preferred; cash handling experience required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in a team-oriented environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization and community

• High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Demonstrates proficiency in financial center systems, lending platforms, and Microsoft Office products to support operations, sales, and team effectiveness.
