Description:

Position Purpose:

  • In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; theCoordinator Medical Practice – Operations, under the direction of the provider, Manager, and RN Clinical Lead, plans, organizes, and directs patient flow on a daily operational basis Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization  
  • Location: 925 N State St #250, Westerville, OH 43082
  • Hours: 7:30am - 4:40pm

What You Will Do:

  • Assists with patient inquiries/concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions, and prescription call-ins in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner. 
  • Interviews, evaluates, trains and supports office staff in conjunction with the Manager. 
  • Creates and maintains staffing schedules. 
  • Coordinates activities and functions of the office to ensure a smooth patient flow. 
  • Implements policies, processes, and procedures via the Manager. 
  • Demonstrates a positive customer service attitude/behavior. 
  • Recommends continuous process improvement. 
  • Reviews reports and escalates concerns to Manager. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:  Highschool diploma.  Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Licensure / Certification:  NA 
  • Experience:   Two (2) years of practice experience required  
  • Experience in leading staff preferred. 
  • Current working knowledge of the importance of business office and clinical care area coordination. 
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects: strong organizational skills; highly motivated and self- directed; and attentive to detail.
