Group Exercise Instructor

Join our fun, enthusiastic Group Exercise team at the Westfield Area YMCA!

We are looking for experienced, energetic certified Group Exercise Instructors for our Lite Cardio/Senior classes and TRX Strength classes. Multiple certifications are a plus! You will be responsible for teaching Group Exercise classes in a fun and safe environment. The Group Fitness Instructor acts as a fitness resource for class participants, maintains positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance, and promotes membership retention and YMCA programs. We 

Job type:Part time - days, afternoons, and evening hours needed. 

Pay Range: $25.00-$28.00 per hour, based on years of related experience

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must have current certifications from a nationally recognized institution.
• Previous experience as a group fitness instructor preferred
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications prior to working - we offer trainings on site.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
