Job Position Summary: You will be responsible to ensure the integrity and suitability of manufactured goods for delivery to customers. You will perform inspections of parts according to customer specifications.
You must have:
- A high School Diploma or Equivalent. Tech School preferred.
- 2+ yrs Experience as an Inspector for Manufacturing.Â
- Experience in the Aerospace industry, preferred
- Strong Attention to details
- Basic computer skillsÂ
- The ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.
- The ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and company operation sheets.
- The ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
- The ability to follow set up instructions, set up, and operate machine controls.
- The ability to write nonconformance reports (NCR’s)
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning computer systems and how it pertains to inspection.
- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Familiarity with all measuring equipment (borescopes, surface profilometers, gage blocks, thread gages, go/no-go gages.)
- Strong understanding of 6S.

In your role, you will:
- Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.Â
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of a variety of part numbers.
- Enter inspection results into ERP system.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, operation process sheets and work instruction.
- Perform receiving inspection of raw material & parts received from outside processes.
- Use all measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, indicators, micrometers.
- Write nonconformance reports (NCR)
- Maintain a clean organized work area.

Working Conditions:
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
- May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.
- Ability to pass annual eye exam by licensed optometrist.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
