The branch manager is a key leadership position responsible for overall branch performance. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted revenue growth, managing P&L budgets, monitoring and maintaining labor efficiency, fostering client relationships, maintaining a strong safety culture. A branch manager will help us fulfill our core purpose of “Deliver Extraordinary Experiences” and will demonstrate our core values: employee centered, customer focused, and champions for the communities we serve. 

As a Branch Manager, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job: 

  1. Foster a safety culture through continuous training, policy compliance, and accountability to our safety standards.
  2. Deliver extraordinary customer and employee experiences.
  3. Predictably deliver budgeted revenue growth.
  4. Build a great team with the right people in the right seats. Create a high degree of team cohesion and shared support. Invest in the growth of high-performing individuals and create future opportunities for them. Hold underperformers accountable and support them with coaching and training to improve lagging performance. 
  5. Prudently manage investments in equipment and expenses to maximize branch profitably.
  6. Lead, manage and hold accountable your customer success professionals on their focus to deepen relationships, exceed retention goals, and actively cross-sell enhancements to improve customer properties and satisfaction.
  7. Lead, manage and hold accountable your operations managers to lead efficient and effective production teams built upon a culture of continuous improvement. 
  8. Exhibit a high degree of personal discipline and professionalism. Actively mentor your team to emulate similar behaviors and hold all accountable to this expectation.
  9. Assist with strategy, budgeting, and other company initiatives as the opportunity presents. Operate effectively in leadership as part of a dynamic, high growth company.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures. 
  11. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements


Industry Experience: 10+ years in the commercial landscape industry, including 5+ years in landscape management or green industry operations.

Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry certifications (e.g., CLP, ISA Arborist) a plus.

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards.

Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency with the ability to adapt to new technology; previous CRM experience preferred (Aspire experience a plus).

Work Ethic & Initiative: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented professional comfortable working with minimal direction.

Work Conditions

Employees in this position should be able and willing to drive or travel locally as needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
