Scope of Position:

Works under the direction and supervision of the Laboratory Manager in support of new product development and existing product improvement projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configures test stations and prepare product for internal testing (includes water, drain, fuel, vent and electrical connections)
  • Ascertains gauge and instrument calibration status
  • Maintains orderly work environment
  • Adheres to laboratory safety policies

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

The Laboratory Technician I must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:

  • High School diploma
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and basic safety devices
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on workload, projects, changes in schedules etc.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must also be creative, flexible and an innovative team player
