Isotopia is a global biotech company manufacturing key ingredients for pharmaceutical cancer drugs. At our US headquarters in Indianapolis, we will be close by our key customers, delivering our products just in time, each day, every day. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented team member to join our dynamic radiopharmaceutical company. The materials clerk will join a team of materials, and logistics personnel, providing support to the materials and specialists to ensure efficient procurement and inventory management of supplies needed for radiopharmaceutical production and timely shipment of product. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organization skills and attention to detail. You will be part of a family, a team, dedicated to our mission to deliver on our covenant with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming deliveries and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Unbox, inspect, and organize incoming materials.
  • Build shipping boxes and prepare packaging for outgoing shipments
  • Assemble shipping kits and logistics supplies
  • Clean and sanitize materials, containers, and components in accordance with company procedures before storage or use.
  • Sort materials into designated storage locations.
  • Label and identify materials as required
  • Photograph shipments, and completed packages for documentation purposes.
  • Scan, upload, and electronically file: shipping, receiving, and quality documentation.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring materials are in stock and reorder points are maintained to meet production schedules.
  • Help coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Distribute materials to various departments or production sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to production schedules.
  • Disposal of surplus or obsolete materials in accordance with environmental and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic audits of material storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving area for incoming packages.
  • Scan, upload, and electronically file: shipping, receiving, and quality documentation
  • Ensure that the staff break rooms and restroom areas remain consistently well-stocked and ready for use.
  • Follow GMP, GDP, safety, and company procedures at all times
  • Possible weekend availability needed 1-2 weekends per month

Experience and Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in materials or warehouse work
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions and implement process improvements.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
