  • Plan and teach youth in at least 2 different types of sports classes, using your sports experience and education
  • Interact, and encourage the children to participate in the activities during classes
  • Teach/Model appropriate techniques and skills. 
  • Communicates effectively with students in a patient, friendly manner
  • Show how you are a positive role model


  

"OK, I'm sold!" What do I need to qualify?

  • Must be 18 or older
  • CPR/AED/First Aid from one of the following certifying organizations: 
    • American Safety & Health Institute
    • American Heart Association
    • American Red Cross
  • Knowledge and expertise in at least 2-3 different sports
  • Ability to communicate effectively to youth participants and their parents/guardians.
  • Ability to plan, lead and participate in Sports activities.
  • Ability to lift equipment, and to lift a small to average size child.
  • Ability to see and supervise children.
  • Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper sports techniques
  • Available weekdays or Saturdays between 9:00 am and 11:00 am and/or 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
