Ensures any employee entering the laboratory complies with all Lotte Chemical safety requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Participates in and completes all assigned training programs | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Responds rapidly and appropriately to emergencies following safety guidelines and procedures; uses equipment, chemicals and procedures appropriate to the situation | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Two to five years of laboratory experience in a petrochemical plant or analytical environment.
Knowledge of and experience with laboratory equipment including, but not limited to, Gas chromatography (GC), and general analysis equipment and methods. |
Ability and experience in working with batch and continuous operations in laboratory environment |
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on assignments |
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use database systems and other programs and applications used by this position. |
Fluent in English language including reading, writing and speaking; ability to read and write at a minimum of high school level; ability to clearly communicate to all levels in organization |
Tech III

Technical school degree for the lab or bachelor’s degree in science area such as chemistry preferred |

 This position requires an employee to be in a lab environment.  There will be exposure to various chemicals and compounds, including fumes and smells, some of them hazardous.  Employee must be able to wear PPE required by the location.  General lab noise from equipment may be experienced.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  All environments are safe with appropriate PPE.
