Pharmacy Technician

EZ Scripts Pharmacy provides free, overnight home delivery of prescription medications to injured workers during the life of their workers compensation claim.  EZ Scripts Pharmacy works as an advocate for Workers’ Compensation (WC) patients to help them receive fast, reliable and discreet medical treatment.

Our closed door, Workers’ Comp Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to work Monday through Friday.  Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills a must. Starting wage and benefits commensurate with your experience and background.  Must be available to work until 7:00 PM. 

In this role you will:

• Communicate with patients, physicians, and enrollment coordinators on a regular basis
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and complete other required training when necessary
• Obtain authorization for refills from physician’s offices
• Work with a staff to order, receive and stock prescription drugs and other pharmacy supplies
• Package and label medications appropriately
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy
• Ensure that all orders are filled, packaged and ready for shipment each day by pickup time

Qualifications

• Must be certified through PTCP
• Ability to work at a steady pace and communicate effectively with customers and medical personnel
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent multi-tasking, accuracy and attention to detail skills
• Experience in Workers Comp and/or mail order pharmacy a plus
• Experience with Inventory control, Key Centrix New Leaf pharmacy and Salesforce CRM software preferred
• Bi-lingual oral and written skills in English and Spanish a plus
