Sonic Summary

info
  • Centered Psychology is seeking part-time and full-time LPCC-S clinicians or licensed psychologists to join their supportive private practice in Westlake and Oberlin, offering both in-person and telehealth services.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and a commitment to providing high-quality, empirically-based treatments, particularly for anxiety disorders.
  • The position offers a competitive salary, flexible scheduling, and a range of administrative support, including marketing and billing services.
  • Clinicians will receive a yearly training stipend, group malpractice insurance, and opportunities for clinical and administrative supervision.
  • The practice emphasizes a collaborative work environment, making it ideal for those transitioning from solo practice or seeking better work/life balance.

Centered Psychology wants to welcome you to your new work home! We are a group private practice with two physical locations (in Westlake & Oberlin) and offering telehealth, and we have a dual mission of making high-quality, empirically-based treatments accessible to children, teens, and adults with anxiety, and to create a supportive, warm work environment where our clinicians feel valued and cared for.

We are hiring part-time and full-time clinicians, and our priority right now is for LPCC-S clinicians who are interested in both clinical work and supervision, or licensed psychologists.

Our office suites are located in two convenient locations, both elegant and comfortable with large windows and lots of sunlight, beautifully designed, and comfortably furnished. It's a great place to spend your day with clients and colleagues. You’ll be provided with a steady stream of referrals, flexible scheduling, and a wide range of administrative support and tools to make your work as smooth as possible. The practice provides marketing, billing, scheduling, an EHR system, office equipment, phone service with voicemail, secure email, professional website and head shots, social media presence, and peer consultation. Staff are provided a yearly training stipend, group malpractice insurance, and clinical and administrative supervision and support.

At Centered Psychology, we believe we are a unicorn of a practice, offering all of the benefits of engaging in the clinical work you love without all of the hassles of the business side of practice. We would make a great fit for someone who has tried the solo route but misses the collegiality of a group, or for someone looking to leave busy hospital or agency work for a better work/life balance but doesn't want to be solo.  Though our primary specialization is anxiety disorders in adults and children, related speciality areas will also thrive here (trauma, mood disorders, relationship concerns, maternal mental health). Our clinicians are given independence and clinical freedom, but also function within a collaborative and supportive team. We work closely with local providers, schools, and other community organizations.

We are curating a specialized team of clinicians who like one another, enjoy working as a team, who love the practice of psychotherapy, and are excellent at connecting with clients.

Applicant requirements:
*Licensed or license-eligible Ohio psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) or LPCC/LPCC-S
*Commitment to both ongoing personal and professional growth
*Dedication to providing exceptional client care with demonstrated awareness of/experience with empirically-supported treatments
*Excellent communication skills
*Exceptional professionalism and organizational skills
*Demonstration of self-awareness and social maturity
*Resourcefulness and team spirit
*Flexibility and a general sense of openness to accommodate our clients’ busy schedules

Candidate must be available at least one evening per week or for a block of Saturday or Sunday hours. We would love to hear from applicants with a demonstrated background and experience in CBT with anxious kids, providers who are trained in EBTs for trauma including exposure or EMDR, or those who have training and interest in working with couples. Newly licensed (or upcoming licensed) clinicians are welcome to apply!
