A Sales Estimator plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by accurately estimating contracts for our landscape maintenance and snow & ice management services. The sales estimator is responsible for coordinating and validating the key information to process a new estimate, initiate the takeoff process, input the takeoff data and build the appropriate contract(s) as requested by the salesperson. As a Sales Estimator you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:
- Collaborate across sales and operations to ensure the estimating process is working effectively and efficiently. Make recommendations for process improvement and training as appropriate.Â
- Validate accuracy of new estimate information received from business development managers, account managers and branch managers.Â
- Process takeoff requests accurately and timely; manage pipeline to meet deadlines and priorities. Work in PropertyIntel or similar systems.Â
- Review the set up of properties in Aspire for accuracy and completeness. Make edits as needed.Â
- Document status updates in a timely manner.
- Enter takeoff data into correct properties.Â
- Create Opportunity in Aspire, ensuring information matches the work requested by the client.
- Follow up with sales/operations for approvals or adjustments to ensure timely and accurate completion of contracts. Â Â
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external clients throughout the entire sales process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify areas to improve to either speed up the process or improve output quality.
- Meet or exceed sales process timeline flow goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper handling of confidential and private information. Perform any other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent with three to five years’ landscape industry experience Â
Experience building estimates for landscape maintenance, commercial snow & ice management, landscaping, or a related field.Â
Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software programs
Understanding of landscape maintenance and snow & ice management templates, kits, and basic operations strongly preferred
WORK CONDITIONS
 Employees in this position should expect to work in a typical office environment including sitting or standing for long periods of time. Candidates will perform basic office functions such as typing, scanning, faxing, or staring at a screen, for extended periods of time.
