Schwab’s Functional Communications team within the Corporate Affairs Organization focuses on building employee alignment and delivering business results through internal communications. We’re a small, high-performing group that moves fast, thinks creatively, and puts our audiences at the center of everything we do. We believe great communication builds trust, drives alignment, and helps people do their best work — and we're looking for someone who shares that belief.

In this role, you'll partner directly with senior business leaders to develop and execute strategic internal communications that advance business priorities, strengthen employee engagement, and connect employees to the firm's mission and goals. Supporting Schwab's Finance and Internal Audit functions, you'll play a key role in shaping communications that inform, inspire, and drive impact. You'll have the opportunity to grow your expertise in a collaborative, high-performing environment that values innovation, fresh perspectives, and continuous improvement. Working alongside a close-knit team of communicators and partnering across the broader Corporate Affairs organization, you'll gain meaningful exposure to the business while helping shape the employee experience and making a visible impact across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance the goals of our business partners and keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Align employees to the company’s strategy and priorities – where Schwab is going, why it matters and how they contribute.
  • Shape and amplify leader voices across various forums and with diverse audiences, working proactively with Corporate Affairs colleagues to build connectivity and synergy across internal, external, and social communications activities and approaches.
  • Drive results and influence behaviors by helping leaders paint a compelling vision of the future and helping employees navigate through change.
  • Partner with team members and business partners to understand audience needs and deliver communications that are clear, relevant, and well timed.
  • Leverage metrics to share meaningful insights with the leaders of these two functions.
  • Foster a culture of service, trust, and partnership – both within our team and across the organization.
