Overview

The Strategic Finance Manager leads business strategy, data analysis, and alignment of financial goals with business objectives. This role is critical in the successful execution of the Company's long-range financial plan and provides data-driven insights in support of strategic initiatives across the company, including M&A. The position monitors trends and developments in the industry, economy, and capital markets, while conducting research and analysis of internal and external financial, business, and technology trends — including long-term financial modeling.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Maintain a detailed 3-statement financial model, valuation model, and other relevant industry and market models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership on company financial performance, including metrics to help meet long-term growth plans.
  • Develop forecasts and analysis regarding customer and ARR-related metrics, while providing thought leadership on the implications of these metrics.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Develop and present dashboards, reports, and executive summaries highlighting financial performance and KPIs to senior leadership.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with 5+ years of related experience in a senior financial or strategic role, preferably in Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth environment.
  • Prior experience in investment banking with a strong understanding of financial statements — including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement — along with strong financial modeling skills.
  • Strong experience with FP&A and BI analytics tools, including Adaptive Insights and Power BI.
  • Strong business partnering experience with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside of the department.
  • Experience at a Private Equity portfolio company.
  • Excellent leadership, sound judgment, and business acumen with a track record of driving strategic outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis and industry benchmarking to inform and shape growth strategies.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $140,000 – $155,000. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate at the time of posting. The listed range may be adjusted in the future based on business needs. Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, and experience.
