Your Role at KIK

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a pool chemical manufacturing and distribution facility. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with production, quality, transportation, and customer service teams to maintain inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time customer deliveries while adhering to all safety and environmental requirements.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, and inbound/outbound shipping to support production and customer requirements

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through SAP transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental, and company requirements for the safe handling, storage, segregation, and shipment of pool chemicals and hazardous materials
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments, manage carrier scheduling, and ensure completion of shipping, hazmat, lot traceability, and regulatory documentation
  • Coordinate product transfers between production and warehouse operations while maintaining inventory accuracy, lot number control, and material availability
  • Provide day-to-day direction, training, and support to warehouse associates and forklift operators to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement by conducting inspections, supporting audits and investigations, maintaining SOPs, and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, service levels, and inventory accuracy

 

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3 or more years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience

  • Strong knowledge of all processes and capabilities to manage inventory and warehouse operations processes for complex materials in a chemical manufacturing environment

  • Solid background in warehouse operations and distribution centers, inventory control and execution, and movement of critical material, consumables, and equipment

  • Understanding of plant operations, transportation, logistics, storage, and processing including safety and security, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards

  • Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse operations

  • Familiarity with hazardous material handling and regulatory requirements

  • Strong organizational and exceptional problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to lead and influence others while maintaining positive working relationships

  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification

  • Hazmat shipping certification preferred

  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a physical examination, functional capacity assessment, and drug screening.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

  • Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures

  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and respiratory protection when required
