ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ

1. Responsible for acknowledging guests in a friendly and timely manner. Â
2. Responsible for method of payment for alcohol beverage service. Â
3. Responsible for taking orders from patrons, recommending food choices, and presenting food. Â
4. Assisting in clearing tables, transporting dirty dishes and linen by a bus cart. Â
5. Cleaning workstation and wait stand at end of shift. Â
6. Responsible for regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.Â
 7. Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and assist in ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees. Â
8. Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities available to guest. Â
9. Other duties as assigned.Â
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSÂ Â
The position is responsible to the Restaurant Supervisor for successful performance of assigned duties. Â

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred One to three years’ experience in food service preferred Completes all company-required training within designated time framesÂ

Ability to obtain and hold a Louisiana Responsible Vendor's card. Must be able to obtain and hold a Calcasieu Parish Bar card (leave if required) Must be able to obtain and hold a valid gaming license. (leave if required) Ability to obtain and hold any and all licenses, certifications, insurance coverage or any other indemnifications which may be required by the company for the successful completion of the duties associated with this position.Â
