Summer School Teacher

School: Hamadeh Educational Services 
Location: Detroit, Dearborn Heights, Westland and Canton
Compensation: $40/hour
Program Dates: June 29 – July 23
Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM, students 9 AM-1 PM
Pre-Program Meeting: Meeting in 2nd week of June (date TBD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive STEAM instruction to students.

• Follow curriculum guidelines, and scope and sequence created, maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.

• Attend a mandatory meeting in June (exact date TBD).

Education & Qualifications:

Required:

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
  OR
  A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms

  • Will need to upload documents in teams

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field 

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education

• Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
