Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Ace Animal Clinic, located in Westland, MI, is a companion animal clinic where we strive for gold-standard medicine for our pets, exceptional education and communication for our clients, and a team that supports and encourages each other. QualificationsÂ
Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.Â
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.Â
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Â
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.Â
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.Â
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.Â
Collect lab samples and maintainaccurate patient records.Â
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.Â
