Job Summary: 

Assists the Program Manager in areas related to supervision and general operation of the residential program. Provides direct care supervision to individuals and ensures shifts run smoothly and efficiently. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

  • None 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

Assist the Program Manager in performing the following duties: 

  • Coordinates and supervises daily programmatic functions including supervision/oversight of staff, upkeep of the residence and implementation of all aspects of individual treatment plans.
  • Ensures that complete and appropriate individual records are maintained in accordance with funding source regulations and Community Strategies policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of behavior plans, ISP objectives and all other aspects of residential programming.
  • Participate in the training of all new employees.
  • Manages program funds and supervises personal finances for all clients.
  • Dispenses medications per MAP requirements as needed.
  • Engages in the upkeep of the residence.
  • Ensures adequate program coverage and supervision.
  • Ensure that duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Attend appropriate meetings as directed. 
  • Conduct physical restraints as needed.
  • Extended standing, sitting and lifting as needed.

Required Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Previous experiences in a human service environment a plus
