We’re currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to become part of our caring and mission-driven community. This position will be 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday- Friday with every other weekend. Housekeepers are a part of our Facilities team, that delivers a unique approach to quality care and hospitality support services for our older adult residents and our active older adult community. Here, your work is more than a job, it’s a meaningful part of something bigger.   Appy Today and Come see the Difference!   What You’ll Do as a Housekeeper at CLV: Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas such as offices, lounges, elevators, and dining spaces. Empty trash, dust surfaces, vacuum carpets and hallways, mop floors, and sanitize frequently touched items (e.g., tables, chairs, ledges, thermostats, fire extinguishers). Clean specialized areas including bathing facilities, soiled utility rooms, isolation rooms, and discharge rooms. Assist with room turnover cleanings and prepare guest rooms, cottages, and community center areas as scheduled. Provide support to Independent Living and Residential Living housekeeping teams as needed, including weekend and relief coverage. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools safely and effectively. QualificationsWhat You'll Need as an CLV Housekeeper: Education | Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working in a long-term care facility is preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and team members. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required. Must have adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively. Requires the ability to stand, walk, turn, stoop, and move intermittently throughout the day, often within confined areas. Must be able to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds using safe handling practices. Must demonstrate flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
