Job Description:

L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a  Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Denver, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.

 Essential Functions: 

  • Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.
  • Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization.
  • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
  • Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in Linux and/or Unix operating systems
  • Experience with Satellite Operations
  • Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
  • Software Integration testing
  • Platform/CLOUD familiarity/integration and testing
  • Payload Platform integration testing (HW to SW) for end-to-end command and control of payload
  • Test Automation

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $92,500 - $171,500 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
