Veterinary NurseÂ
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This position supports veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care while helping ensure pets and their owners have a positive, comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and medical procedures
- Collect patient histories and accurately document medical records
- Perform blood draws, place IV catheters, and collect diagnostic samples
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized and surgical patients
- Perform Dental Prophylaxis nd Full Mouth Radiographs for anesthetized patients
- Assist with anesthesia, surgery preparation, and patient recovery
- Perform laboratory testing and obtain diagnostic images when trained
- Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and at-home instructions
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas
- Provide gentle, low-stress handling and compassionate patient care
Requirements

Job Requirements
- Veterinary nursing or veterinary assistant experience preferred
- CVT, RVT, or LVT credential preferred but not required
- Strong animal-handling and patient-restraint skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable discussing patient care and instructions with pet owners
- Ability to lift approximately 40–50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established medical protocols
- Dependable attendance and a genuine commitment to exceptional patient care
