As a Med-Tech/CMA at Careview Transitional Care of Weston, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the residents. The CMA works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to administer medications, monitor residents, and support daily care while promoting a positive, respectful environment for everyone in the community. Responsibilities Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers Maintain accurate medical documentation related to medication administration Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions to medications Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans Provide education to residents and families regarding medication management Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive resident care Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards Requirements Valid certification as a Medication Aide / Technician or equivalent qualification through the state CNA license Proven experience in medication administration within a healthcare setting Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices Experience working in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home environments is preferred Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members Ability to work compassionately with individuals with diverse needs, including dementia care Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Join a team committed to putting people first—every resident, every day.
