Description

The Pipefitter will install industrial refrigeration system piping at various customer locations. Must be able to layout pipe from flow diagrams generated by the RD&S Engineering Department per IIAR standards, and follow instructions from RD&S Field Supervisors in order to assist in portions of various Projects. 

Requirements

  • Understand and properly interpret flow diagrams and layout drawings 
  • Ability to properly fit up refrigeration, water and glycol pipe
  • Working knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Excel, word, email, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD a plus
  • Report and resolve discrepancies in the drawings to RD&S engineering department and Director of Construction
  • Ensure all material specifications for equipment, pipe and other materials are being followed.
  • Ability to visualize final pipe path and layout accordingly per IIAR pipe standards
  • Must travel as required and stay out of town on a job up to 10 days, occasionally longer. (out of town not a constant, but on occasion)
  • Attend all company sponsored functions  
  • Attend company sponsored training as required 
  • Ensure all RD&S, OSHA and client safety protocols are followed at all times 
  • Attend safety and construction meetings
