Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the operational readiness of classrooms AV/IT equipment
- Provide support in conducting regular tests of the AV equipment in all classrooms and conference room spaces.
- Provide reports on any major issues in classrooms that need to be addressed.
- Provide onsite support services when users need immediate help in classrooms.
- Keeping track of the equipment inventory in classrooms.
- Assist in the replacement of equipment.
- Perform basic repairs as needed.
- Learn and demonstrate best practices for creating documentation.
- Help with various to-dos and office tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Aptitude for audio-visual (AV) equipment and information technology (IT).
- Ability to write documentation for hardware and software procedures.
- Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable with web conference technology (O365, Teams, etc.).
- Being able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Being able to work on a 6-foot ladder.
Preferred qualifications:
- Someone who can drive a campus vehicle.
- Previous experience with AV equipment, sound systems, or computer hardware in a school or church setting.Â
Pay Range: $15-$16/hour
