In this role, you’ll serve as a key advocate for student well-being, using your expertise in assessment, counseling, and data-driven intervention to help shape a supportive and inclusive school climate. You’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, collaborate with educators and families, and develop targeted strategies that address a wide range of learning and behavioral needs.
Beyond individual student work, you’ll also help build and strengthen school-wide systems of support, ensuring that every learner benefits from environments that promote resilience, confidence, and emotional growth. Whether facilitating IEP and problem-solving meetings or consulting with teachers to refine classroom strategies, your insights will drive meaningful, measurable impact.
Requirements
A master’s degree or higher in School or Educational Psychology and a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement are required. Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Prior school-based experience is highly preferred.Benefits
