WVUHS is currently seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Wheeling, WV!

Wheeling, WV offers a variety of activities and has acres of green space located conveniently throughout the city. Wheeling offers 36 parks and playgrounds to explore. Swimming, golfing, tennis, horseback riding, picnicking, playgrounds, walking, running, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, zip lining, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and fishing are all available!

Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted state medical license in Pennsylvania. Candidates will have completed an accredited residency program and be board-certified or board-eligible via a recognized board within the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification required.

Wheeling Hospital, founded in 1850, has served patients longer than any other hospital in West Virginia. Today, it is a 223-bed acute care facility with a medical staff of nearly 150 primary care and specialty physicians.

Now known as WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, it provides a wide array of primary and tertiary care services.
