Delaware North Gaming is looking for a full-time or part-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, West Virginia, is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, and simulcast wagering. Wheeling Island also features a 151-room hotel, many dining options, and a 1,000-seat showroom.

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed, and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
• Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing and removing weeds
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order, and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
• Operates motor vehicle as necessary

• No high school diploma or GED required
• A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for a commercial facility is required
• Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred
• Must have a valid drivers license

• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking 100% of the time
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
