Position Overview:

This position will provide both strategic insights and in-depth analysis on companywide capital spending by working across global regions and corporate functional groups.

Key Accountabilities:

Capital Budget

  • Annual Budget - coordinate company wide budget submissions, perform analysis of submitted data, identify risks and opportunities in the underlying assumptions relative to the company’s overall objectives. Provide hands-on support to ensure the budget and forecast are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
  • Strategic Plan – compile comprehensive network and depreciation data, including detailed schedules, to support 3-year financial plan.

Monthly Reports

  • Capex Reporting - reconcile cash flow across financial systems, analyze actual cash flow against budget, and update forecast on a regular basis and bring concerns to senior management. 
  • Depreciation Analysis – review monthly depreciation performance, highlighting deviations from Budget and Strat Plan. 
  • Store Count – track monthly retail network activities and transformation rates.

Capex Approval Process

  • Manage end-end internal capital requests and group validation process, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects are thoroughly prepared for monthly Store Network Committee meetings and validate on time.  

Business Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Global Store Development, Retail Excellence, Accounting, and regional Finance groups.

Ad-Hoc

  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of finance experience, preferably in the Capex and Lease Accounting. 
  • BS degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with senior management and leadership teams 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently holds or is in pursuit of an MBA
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning and Business Objects 
  • International business experience

 

The hiring range for this position ranges from $101,000 - $130,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
