Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Senior Developer with a minimum of 12+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Ab Initio. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills to deliver complex ETL and real-time processing solutions for global implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL/API solutions using Ab Initio with a massively parallel processing architecture.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions.
- Perform functional and non-functional assessments for global data implementations.
- Design solutions considering recovery, resiliency, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure alignment with data governance and security standards.
- Manage and monitor workflows using Ab Initio GDE, Control Center, Plan-It, and Conduct-It.
- Work with Oracle/SQL to write complex queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Utilize Git or other version control tools to manage codebase and configurations.
- Participate in technical discussions and represent the development team in business and partner calls.
Required Skills
- Ab Initio (Batch and Real-Time) development expertise.
- Strong knowledge of ETL design patterns and data warehouse architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Unix basics, and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE, Control Center, Plan-It, and Conduct-It.
- Familiarity with DevOps, Data Governance, and Data Engineering practices.
- Exposure to Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, risk and controls, and digital transformation initiatives.
