Pharmacy Business Office Assistant Baldwin Family Health Care | Full‑Time | Non‑Exempt

Baldwin Family Health Care is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Business Office Assistant to support the financial and operational functions of our pharmacy services.

This role plays a key part in pharmacy billing, accounts receivable, medication ordering, and inventory coordination, helping ensure efficient operations and revenue integrity across our pharmacy and clinical teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile pharmacy billing, payments, and accounts receivable
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and communicate with third‑party payers
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and inventory tracking of clinic‑administered medications
  • Support cold‑chain management, DSCSA documentation, and medication
    compliance
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, finance, and clinical staff
  • Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and organizational customer service expectations


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior pharmacy or healthcare business office experience strongly
    preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and pharmacy workflows
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with pharmacy or billing software a plus
  • Michigan Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB certification preferred (training available for required certifications, including 340B)
