Job Details:

Pay $16.90 hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday with possible Saturday work as required.

This position is a cross-training opportunity within the Debone Department. The selected team member will be trained to learn and perform all aspects of the debone cone line operations, including both Class 7 and Class 4 positions. Responsibilities include maintaining production efficiency, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting line operations as needed.

This position requires the safe handling and proper use of knives in accordance with the safety policies and procedures. The candidate will be moving to class jobs/ promotion once they are qualified.

  • Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules

  • Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions.

  • Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level. 

  • Must be able to perform the duties of the position

  • Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day.

  • Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.

  • Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.

  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.

  • Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed.

Requirements:

  Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.

  • Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.

  • Failed Drug Screen - If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
