Job Summary:

As an Operator at MacroSource, you will play a vital role in the loading of trucks and barges, ensuring the efficient transfer of dry and liquid fertilizers. While part of a large company, the workforce at the Pine Bluff terminal is small; you must be ready to be a critical part of a tight-knit and motivated team. Your responsibilities will encompass using approved tools and methods, operating front-end loaders, skid steers, bulk conveying equipment, and handling general maintenance tasks. Safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company guidelines are crucial aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load trucks with dry fertilizer and barges with grain, utilizing approved tools and methods.
• Perform general equipment maintenance using appropriate tools.
• Follow guidelines for ascending and descending ladders on trucks, towers, and platforms.
• Maintain facility and grounds through proper housekeeping methods.

Qualifications/Special Demands/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a fertilizer terminal is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of company-supplied personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe or sturdy leather boots.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and deal with heights and around water while following respiratory and fall protection guidelines and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• This role requires English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication in a safety-sensitive environment.

• Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
• Flexibility to work overtime (some nights and weekends) as required. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm.
