Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Shift Supervisor at Burger King, operated by Onvo, is responsible for overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, and adherence to company standards. This role involves leading a team, maintaining a positive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:

* Supervise and train team members on food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
* Manage cash handling, including opening and closing procedures, drawer reconciliation, and bank deposits.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
* Assist with scheduling and managing employee breaks.
* Enforce company policies and procedures among team members.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Prepare and serve food items according to Burger King's specifications.
* Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Job Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting, with some supervisory experience preferred
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train a team.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions.
* Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
