Medical Assistant – White House, TN
Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our providers and ensuring excellent patient care. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team within our innovative orthopedic model.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard medical assistant duties in an orthopedic clinic setting
  • Obtain precertification for outpatient testing as needed
  • Process referrals and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain well-stocked exam rooms
  • Administer injections and assist with bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (new grads welcome)
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (required)
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care
