Night Warehouse Supervisor - Chesapeake Beverage

Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 8:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M.

Starting Compensation: $61,000 annually ($55,000 base + $6,000 incentive potential)

Mitchell Companies is seeking an experienced Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead our overnight warehouse team and keep nightly operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the pace for a team, maintain high standards, solve problems in real time, and ensure orders are ready for the next day's deliveries.

What You’ll Do

As Night Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate nightly warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order selection, staging, and shipping.

  • Supervise, train, coach, and support warehouse employees to drive strong performance and productivity.

  • Set clear expectations for safety, quality, attendance, accuracy, and productivity.

  • Monitor workflow and staffing throughout the shift, adjusting priorities and resources as needed to complete the night's work.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular monitoring, audits, and resolution of discrepancies.

  • Enforce company safety standards and promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.

  • Identify and address issues involving product quality, inventory, equipment, workflow, or employee performance.

  • Partner with Warehouse, Delivery, Sales, and other teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and ready for timely delivery.

  • Track and report warehouse activity, inventory information, productivity, and employee performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce unnecessary costs.

  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices are consistently followed.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous warehouse leadership, supervisory, or management experience.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and workplace safety.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and keep a team moving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to consistently work the overnight schedule.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.

  • Beverage distribution or similar high-volume distribution experience.

  • Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Forklift certification.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas.

  • Ability to work overnight in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
