Physician Assistant - Ambulatory Surgery - NYP/The One – White Plains, NY

Opening in September 2025, a new, multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility, will offer a wide range of adult and pediatric specialty care services, all under one roof, delivered by exceptional care teams led by trusted Columbia doctors. Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, The One will set a new standard for superior patient experience, convenience, and quality care.

This new 380,000 square foot multi-specialty Ambulatory Care Facility sets a new bar in personalized outpatient care -- from diagnosis to treatment -- by integrating new technologies and innovative clinical approaches to provide the highest quality care and enhance the patient experience. 

This facility has a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center with multiple operating and procedural rooms. As part of the Care Team, the Surgical PA service will play an integral role in providing high quality, patient-centered care across multiple specialties. The PA will practice top of license in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of care, supporting surgical cases in a 1st or 2nd assist capacity.

The Physician Assistant at this location will support multi-surgical specialties including:

• General Surgery

• Urology

• ENT

• Ophthalmology

• OB/GYN

• Orthopedics

• Pulmonary

• Gastroenterology

• Pediatrics

This position is four (4) 9.5 -hour shifts, rotating between 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and 10:30 am to 8pm. No weekends or overnight shifts required.

Required Criteria 

• Minimum 3 years of surgical experience in 1st or 2nd assist capacity

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies 

• NYS PA licensure

• NCCPA certification

• DEA Certification

• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
