Refreshment Attendant

Position:    Refreshment Center Attendant

Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

·         Ability to interact with internal and external guest

·         Uphold Safety practices

·         Replenishing the mini-bars of products used, including glasses and supplies

·         Effective telephone/pager use

·         Cleaning the mini-bars daily

·         Keeping inventory of products and completing paperwork daily

·         Ice the guest rooms daily

Secondary Responsibilities:

·          Moving and lifting 180 pound bars

·          Take trash out

·          Clean the Refreshment Center, beverage carts, and the ice carts

·         Responsible for stocking inventory

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

·         8:30am-5:00pm

·         Holidays/weekends

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

·         A position that had customer/guest contact is preferred

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

·         High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

·         Be able to speak English fluently

·         Communicate in a friendly and polite manner with internal and external guest

·         Ability to communicate with other departments

Technical Requirements:  

·          Valid Drivers License

·         WV State Food Handlers Card

·         Manager on duty at all times

Other Requirements:

·         Consistent demonstration of the Ten Essential Attributes

·         Knowledge of resort and amenities as well as the layout of rooms (preferred, not required)

·         Ability to get along with others

·         Team player, Desire to satisfy our guest –ALWAYS!
