Shift: Sunday-Wednesday; 5:00am-3:30pm

 

The Equipment Operator plays a key role in fulfilling customer orders within our warehouse facility, which specializes in large furniture distribution across North America. Using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers, this individual will work as part of a 7-day operation on one of two shifts. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with a positive attitude, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment while maintaining attention to detail. Candidates should be adaptable, willing to take on new responsibilities, and able to effectively collaborate with coworkers, customers, and management at all levels of the organization.#INDOTHER

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate a scanner to track the location of products in the building
  • Operates warehousing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers frequently
  • Safely operate in a warehouse environment
  • Work as part of a team
  • Follow work instructions
  • Follow-up on tasks

Role Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • High school degree or GED a plus 
  • Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus
  • Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus
  • Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
  • Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shift 
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods 
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights to 50 pounds 
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements

Pay Range

Starting from USD $16.25/Hr.
