Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Forklift Warehouse Operator will be responsible for following all safety operationalÂ
procedures while providing support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receivingÂ
warehouse products. It will be essential that the Forklift Warehouse Operator supports and integrates Sizemore’sÂ
core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assignedÂ
responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
• Perform cycle counts by scanning and counting material to ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Comply with all safety rules and guidelines of the location.
• Other tasks as assigned.Â
Qualifications:
• High school graduate or recipient of GED preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic mathematical, reading, and communication skills
• Positive attitude & good work ethic
• Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask.
• Have good hand eye coordination.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
• Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy in all interactions.
• Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
• Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.Â
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process informationÂ
with accuracy and clarity.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
Working Conditions:Â
• Work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move around freely in 400,000 square foot facility.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when performing specific job tasks.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
