cope of Position:

AllFill, Inc.is a top supplier in accessories and parts for packaging manufacturing machines. The Machinist's job is to operate machine tools, such as engine lathes and milling machines to cut and produce these precision parts for AllFill, Inc.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review samples, blueprints, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output.
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping.
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
  • Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job.
  • Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify any issues.
  • Determine and program size of batches and speed of machine.
  • Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages. Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Work Environment:

This job takes place within a clean, well lit, ventilated and air-conditioned manufacturing facility. Subject to noise from machinery. Regularly exposed to hazardous situations and equipment, such as high-speed machines. Regularly exposed to loud noise from machines used. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Some overtime required as business needs dictate.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have 3+ years of experience with lathes and Bridgeport Mills.
