Hiring a Live Answer Coordinator for Baldwin Woods OB/GYN Whiteville


Job Description: Will work as part of a team in assisting one or more groups of physicians, mid-level providers and clinical/non-clinical staff and ensure competent and accurate appointment scheduling while maintaining the efficient flow of all incoming calls for the practice(s).  In addition, Live Answer Coordinator will provide appropriate screening, handling and routing of all incoming phone calls and ensure patient messages are taken appropriately with pertinent information in the phone messaging applications.



Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred: Associate degree in healthcare related field; certified as Medical Office Asst; CMAA.

 


Experience: Medical secretarial and customer service experience required.  At least 1 year in a medical office setting with experience in appointment scheduling and managing patient phone calls required.  Certified as either a Medical Office Assistant or Medical Office Assistant is a plus.  Must have experience with basic computer applications, multiple line phones and basic office machines.
