As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be the key link between our shipping team and office coordinator. You'll handle both shipping products and managing billing and documentation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Responsible for printing of appropriate shipping papers.Â
- Prepares outgoing shipments in accordance with order due date and quantity.Â
- Properly label outgoing materials.Â
- Stages materials to appropriate areas and maintains work in process in an orderly manner.Â
- Maintains records of supplies and materials in process at workstations.Â
- Understands all aspects of material(s) flowing into and out of the facility, and processing documents to support.Â
- Verifies delivery and shipping receipts for accuracy including but not limited to items such as PO numbers, counts, and descriptions of items being shipped/received.Â
- Locates items on delivery lists and determines the status of any products to be shipped.Â
- Works closely with staff in evaluating current methods, conditions, and procedures related to shipping.Â
- Suggest changes and/or modifications to improve current practices/procedures.Â
- Keeps work area neat and orderly while meeting expected goals.Â
- Records and submits accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the job.Â
- Follows established safe work practices while ensuring accuracy to performance.Â
- Works at an established level of production as appropriate to the job.Â
- Follow standard work of processes to complete tasks safely and efficiently Â
- Must be mature, detail-oriented and safety-driven individualÂ
- Process-driven to complete tasks from beginning to endÂ
- Organization to maintain a workable space in an office settingÂ
- Work in both a team atmosphere, as well in a self-propelled setting Â
REQUIREMENTS:Â
- 1-3 years of production-related factory experience is preferredÂ
- Must possess basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skillsÂ
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, along with the ability to work alone, or within a team settingÂ
- Must be at least 18 years of ageÂ
- Clean driving record required to obtain forktruck certification Â
- Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screen is required prior to hireÂ
