Master’s Clinician – Fee for Service (FFS)

Location: Whitman Counseling Center
Schedule: Fee for Service (Flexible Hybrid Schedule)
Salary Range: $33–$38/hour
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The Whitman Counseling Center is a community-based outpatient behavioral health clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to underserved populations. We offer a full continuum of services, including individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as psychiatric medication management.

What You’ll Do:

Provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to individuals seeking support for mental health, emotional, and life challenges.

Clinical Services

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals
• Provide individual therapy services in-person and via telehealth
• Maintain a minimum of eight (8) client contact hours per week
• Deliver evidence-based, client-centered interventions
• Support individuals ages 5 and older in achieving treatment goals and improving overall well-being

Care Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, clinicians, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case consultation
• Coordinate referrals and additional services when clinically appropriate

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with BAMSI, DPH, DMH, CARF, and other regulatory standards
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of clinical practice

What You Bring:

Education & Licensure

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field required
• Must be eligible for independent licensure within two (2) years

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Sensitivity to cultural diversity and commitment to inclusive care
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
• Strong time-management skills and ability to manage a flexible caseload
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
