Summary:

You will drive commercial expansion of SKF Insight bearing with end-user and OEM customers across heavy industries—mining, metals, paper and related sectors—primarily in North America, with additional opportunities in South America.

SKF Insight bearing solutions are advanced condition-monitoring systems, integrating fiber-optic sensing directly into rotating equipment. Each installation requires machine-specific engineering, fiber routing, interrogator integration, commissiong, and ongoing data interpretation. You will therefore sell a complete condition-monitoring packege: engineered hardware, installation, commissioning, data services, and reliability insights.

This role is not traditional product sales. it is consultative selling of complex, multi-stakeholder reliability engineers, and process owners-helping them understand how fiber-optic sensing data translates into uptime, throughput, and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sales plan in collaboration with industry leaders and local SKF sales teams
  • Identify high-value applications where condition-monitoring gaps exist and build a strong pipeline
  • Engage maintenance, reliability, and engineering stakeholders to define technical solutions
  • Prepare proposals, lead technical-commerical discussions, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Track key performance indicators and report progress to stakeholders

What You Bring:

  • Strong background in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or reliability technologies
  • Knowledge in vibration analysis, acoustic sensing, fiber-optic sensing, load measurement, or similar
  • Experience selling customized sensor-based solutions; force measurement solutions preferred
  • A proven track record in consultative selling of complex, multistakeholder projects
  • Comfortable working in a start-up-like environment where processes and our product evolve
