License Vocation Nurse (LVN) Hospice House, Full-time, 12 hours, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Provides direct patient care under the direction/supervision of a registered nurse. Provides treatments, procedures and clerical duties as defined and within the legal boundaries of the Licensed Vocational Nurse Scope of Practice and accepts responsibility for individual nursing actions, competence, decisions and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice.

Required Experience

Required: 

• Current California LVN license
• Intravenous and Blood Withdrawal Certification
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Intravenous and Blood Withdrawal Certification
• Evidence of continuing education
• 1-2 year experience in an acute care facility in Medical/Surgical as appropriate for clinical specialty.
